New Court, Christ's College.
This is the strikingly modern, controversial, tiered concrete building, designed by Sir Denys Lasdun, 1969-70. It is the part of Christ's College, Cambridge, where the first year students usually live, and not at all in keeping with the rest of the college buildings. It has also been noted that the concrete is not ageing well.
