That Special First Snow of the Winter

What a superb day it has been, woke up to a shadow of the mountains cast onto the clouds behind, a very unusual occurrence. Even though we had not had snow at our altitude it was clear that it had fallen heavily not too much higher than us. Les Plans, under the Grand Muveran was clearly the place to go.
