The Green Fields of France
Sorry, picture hasn't much to do with title today.
View is Parc des Eaux-Vives looking down to lake.
Title is a song, one of my favourite versions of the song by The Men They Couldn't Hang. It was written by Scottish-Australian singer-songwriter Eric Bogle, reflecting on the grave of a young man who died in World War I.
Can I also recommend on this day: Birdsong by Sebastian Faulks, one of the best world war 1 novels in my very humble opinion.
Cold and windy here, but I think we can cope with that.
