Homework

Text conversation at 6pm with me squelching around on rainy dog walk:

B: "Can Ali Come round tonight?"
Me: "Why?" [very unusual to have friend around after 7pm on a school night]
B: "Cause he invited me round but I've been round his loads" [true]
Me: "Homework?"
B: "Got one bit to do"
Me "OK after homework"
B: " OK THANK YOU! Would it be possible for him to have dinner here? I know I'm asking a lot..."

So Ali is round and I'm cooking dinner for 5. This conversation is typical of Ben, he gains agreement on one thing and pushes for the next....No big deal but I'm realising with teenagers, barriers are pushed all the time!

This was the (finished) homework left on the table.
