HMS Otranto

Two of the many Commonwealth War Graves at Kilchoman where there was a service of remembrance for the dead of HMS Otranto which was wrecked off Islay in October 1918. Hundreds of American soldiers, on their way to fight, also drowned, a month before the end of the war.
