Today's the day....

1) we remember those who've lost their lives for our country. Today my husband was out with little miss t and they observed a two minute silence. Three older ladies praised her and asked if she knew why they fell silent. Her reply " to remember the lady & men soldiers who are in heaven". The three ladies all shed a tear.
2) the teddy bears have their picnic. Each week we get a book bag that contains a toy (or something associated) with the book. This week a picnic blanket. Cue tea time becomes the ideal time to have an indoor picnic. The participants are her favourite soft toys.

I have a little girl who makes me very proud indeed.
