I was out and about today and noticed some interesting things. I was amazed by the amount of people I saw in shorts; people who didn't appear to be going to or coming back from any form of exercise. Perhaps like me they are going through a somewhat tropical phase.

I noticed that there were also several buggies being pushed by grandparents; perhaps Monday is the day when most parents work or most grandparents like to visit?

I was also slightly alarmed at the number of tattoo shops I passed. Four brand new shops that I have never noticed before, all luring you in to inject dye into your skin. I appreciate the artistry involved but it's the pain barrier that I can't understand.

I was also interested in the Ice Cream 'To Go' - It looks like a clever rip off of the Monopoly Go To Jail sign. They appear to be offering Ice Cream and in another little sign, inside the café, they are asking customers to 'help themselves to a blanket'. The brazier outside had the smallest little candle burning away. A café for all seasons perhaps?
