Up North

Work couldn't pass quick enough today before I joined four friends for a road trip up to Manchester. We'd been expecting bad rush hour traffic, but downpours of rain and a massive accident on the M6 made it a very long, slow journey. We did get to eat our tea of cold pizza waiting in the stationary traffic jam whilst the accident was cleared. Despite the extra hours, it was a really fun trip with lots of singing and chocolates. We arrived in Manc about 10.30 and spent the night checking out our Air B&B flat and excitedly planning the rest of the weekend.
