Private Benjamin moment

Today is Veterans Day in the US & Remembrance Day here in England. Lots of my friends have posted pics of their military family members. I don't come from a military family (not really). However, I got an itching to see the world when I was 17 so I enlisted in the US Navy. I was a total goofball & showed up at bootcamp with hot rollers in my suitcase. Believe me when I say that things became clear to me very quickly. This was me back in the day...way way way back in the day~ As for seeing the world, well that wasn't to be. I spent the majority of my time stationed 30 min from my parents' home. Life is strange sometimes, but it always seems to work out for me. I'm a Lucky Girl ya know!
