Thrush

Of the bird variety not the medical.

It is hard to believe that these babies I photographed a week ago have now fledged and left the next. I'm absolutely astounded at how quickly they've grown up. But I love those wee tufts he still has on his head.

This is the last of them. Sitting waiting for the parents to arrive with food. I didn't stick around too long as I knew they wouldn't come back while I was there. Fortunately cats don't seem to visit A's house so it should have been fairly safe while it waited.

I went to A's house aftr work tonight as I have offered to mow her lawns while she's away - so I had to learn how to use her ride on mower - what fun! I'll go back tomorrow for another lesson. Then we shared a lovely meal that my friend Linda (the Sydney visitor) cooked for us.

Thanks ladies for the fun, food and company.
