House Truck - Parked Up

Colour Challenge - Violet

I've often seen this colourful house truck parked where the Heathcote River empties into the Christchurch Estuary. It really is violet and quite eyecatching. I don't know how they've managed to stay there so long without being moved on.

Thanks for all your lovely supportive comments about the accident yesterday. I understand that the two motorcyclists are seriously injured but they could easily have been killed, so they were lucky. I drove out of that Kaituna intersection very very carefully this morning - it's a nasty bend and the visibility is awful.
