Day of the Dead

One of Mexico's most widely celebrated holidays is Nov. 2, The Day of the Dead.
(Día de Muertos) They remember loved ones by making the favorite foods of that person, building altars with photos, other miniature items that the person liked, and flowers. The most common flowers are marigolds, and they must grow millions of them just for this day. Skulls and skeletons are used in most of the decorations, but it is not in a creepy way like in the US. It's more of a party for the person instead of mourning.
There are still many remnants around town from the celebrations, and I spotted this one through a doorway.
