Smooth Criminal

Finally staggered back to work after a long time off. It was nice to see everyone, and I chose to take the greeting of, 'What on earth are you back for?' as an indication that the lurgy was still evident in my pale and fragile appearance as opposed to their disgust at having to speak to me again.

Anyway, it was an interesting time away and having to stay at home. When you are working full-time it can be hard to forge meaningful relationships with your neighbours and you often only get the occasional clue as to who lives in your street when you walk around.

I mean, you never know who could be a few doors down...
