Calle Obispo Rey Redondo

Another explore of downtown Santa Cruz this lunchtime before hoping on the tram and winding up the hill to the former island capital (until 1723) of La Laguna.

A beautiful town with some stunning examples of period architecture, laid out in a grid structure, AND a world heritage site no less.

This is Calle Obispo Rey Redondo - and on your left (front to back) are the Magistrate's House, the Corn Exchange, and the House of the Captain General (now the Tourist Information Office with a stunning interior courtyard).

It reminds me of some places I've been to in Latin America - Colonia in Uruguay for example.

It makes me wonder if anyone walked the cobbles in both places - all I know is they didn't fly!
