Cross Fell

in the distance covered with yesterday's snow and with it' own cloud system. After a leisurely breakfast we headed down the A6 to Bannisdale to bag a few Wainright outlying summit. The sun shone the skies were clear and the low winter sunshine provided amazing shadows. This little ridge caught the shadows and stood out against the autumn shades. I looked back a couple of minutes later and there was no sign of it - a trick of the light and I was lucky enough to catch it - amazing day on the fells : )
