Remembrance

Today has been such a lovely bright day :-)
After our grocery shop we headed to Dundee to M&S to pick up a coat I had ordered.
At 11am the staff and customers observed a 2minute silence for Remembrance Sunday..
As the day was so lovely we took Maeve for a walk up to the Howff and had a quiet stroll in the beautiful autumn light.
Walking in the old graveyard brought to mind the poem In Flanders Field particularly the second verse.
We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.
