sunshine after the rain

Went out earliesh with the dog having had cabin fever yesterday due to illness. What a gorgeous, glad to be alive day ! Yesterday was unrelentingly wet, but this morning was crisp and bright and the sun was bursting through the trees. Took a few of this angle, but didn't realise I'd captured this one little bird hovering until I got home, so chose this one to blip.
Then my fab daughter arrived in the afternoon with her great boyfriend and they cooked sunday lunch and fussed me! Dreadful Saturday, lovely sunday.
