Hanging Moon

I was driving home and saw this luscious moon hanging just short of the night horizon. I was all dressed up from having gone to fancy gala that night but that didn't stop me from sticking my camera on my tripod and setting it up on my sidewalk out front.

Almost all of the successful moon shots I have taken in the past have been when the sky has still had some light. They have also looked remarkably similar like this one and this.

I'd have more success with night shots if I could master the art of manual photography with my camera. That's my next goal. Well, that and learning Light Room.
