Lest we forget

Lest we forget.

The weather was beautiful today so I decided to go on a decent walk with my camera and try to make the most of the day. I ended up helping a chap try to drive to the local convent, he was looking a bit forlorn as he had a big truck and he was worried he wouldn't make it down the road. I reassured him he would but he'd have to keep everything crossed he didn't meet anything coming the other way.

I also helped a very elderly lady find the local brewery which made me smile. I imagined her loading the back of her car with casks of ale ;-)

I got home just as it started to get darker with a rucksac heaving full of the weekly shop. Tonight I am attempting to make dahl and a cauliflower/ aubergine/ mushroom curry, wish me well as it could be a complete disaster but I guess I won't know if I don't try...

Listening to some lovely music in the background and feeling rather chilled :-)
