Looking at the moon

This stone bird appears to be looking at the moon - which is something I love to do too. I took this mid-afternoon, but changed it to mono to look more like moonlight. I had spotted the moon and was looking for something to use as a suitable foreground and thought this really fitted the bill! It was a lovely day today - so crisp and sunny, and I walked for longer than I had intended because it was so wonderful after all the damp days. Tomorrow sounds as though it's going to be a wash-out.
