"Keeping Busy and out of the Rain"

I thought my days of DIY Decorating were over. We started the lounge and got guys in to scrape off the old paper, then employed a plasterer to skim the walls and ceiling and then there was supposed to be a painter coming in to finish it off, all very civilized I thought. However the painter couldn't come to price the job till next week and it would be two weeks later till he could do it. I said I would just do it myself. Well that's it after three days. Two coats on the ceiling 24' x 14' and one on the walls as they are going to be papered. Carpet & suite ordered so hopefully will have all the doors and windows restained tomorrow. Don't know what the golf will be like on Tuesday.
