Promenade
Day 313 - road trip with the fella oop north to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park as part of his 'non birthday' celebrations. We left Stokey land and headed up over the hills in glorious sunshine. By the time we reached Glossop the hills ahead were covered black cloud and lightening. In the matter of half a mile we went from sun to a mega hailstrom of a storm. Glad to be in a Defender despite being deafened by the stones beating down on the roof, the Vito van in front was slipping and sliding all over the shop. Fortunately the storm lifted just enough for us to have a couple of hours walking around YSP which was cool. Saw us some sculptures in a natural settings, startled a cow then headed home for a super good Thai takeaway.
