A few leaves left

Our Acer tree in the front garden is still hanging on to a few of its leaves and looked good in the morning sunlight while the rest lay on the lawn waiting to swept up.

This tree was given to us in 1990 to mark our 25th wedding anniversary and with a bit of luck, it and us will still be here in two years time to mark our 50th

I am still duty cook and am wondering what it will be today. I am thinking along the lines of roast lamb! What do you think, with a few veg?
