The Award & what happened when we weren't looking

Just joking. But these two youngies did look as though they were making a quick getaway incognito.

Mina Howard, local legend, does so much for the community. That's Mina at the front on the bottom right in the yellow RFS uniform and her daughter Erin in uniform behind her. She's being presented with a premier's award by state MP Roza Sage for her HUFF program - where on the ground coordinators look out for those less able in their designated area - particularly in times of emergency, such as our recent fires.

And top right is the man of the moment - NSW Fire Commissioner Shane Fitzsimmons.
