Spelled Out

Ok, maybe this isn't the best way to capture sadness, but it's one way to interpret the emotion. I got some pretty devastating news today. The job I was so excited about got filled. I didn't even get a second interview and whenever I would call back to ask about that second interview my recruiter would not be in her office. One of the other ladies at the agency informed me that the job was already taken and I felt a sudden negative blow. I was so excited and I knew I did well on the first interview. I'm thinking maybe, I wasn't aggressive enough about calling back. I did wait a few days after she said she would get back to me....
