I live for cake

I don't normally tweet or blip my meals, but this was so beautifully presented I can't resist. Tempted by a review in the Herald of a cafe on Howe Street, I headed over there this afternoon with my friend Lynn. A lovely combination of a picture-framing shop and a cafe, I can only recommend Bon Papillon. Especially since when I grumpily pointed out that there was nothing on the lunch menu I could eat, they put together a BESPOKE sandwich for me (which was lovely) and then along came this Double Orange cake, which was moist and orange-tangy and not too sweet, with lots of fresh fruit and creme fraiche on the side. Cake Nirvana!
