Day 1

Another day
Another moon shot
At this I can do no wrong
A start of a week of poem
Not some lyrics to a song

The weather has been so dreary
Rain and wind
All about
Nothing much of interest
Not even a shout

And then a moment
The clouds cleared
Blue sky peeked through the haze
A crescent moon
Shone in twilight
The first time in days

There were just minutes
Of frantic action
As scope and camera come out from hiding
1/160 time exposure
This capture needed no guiding

So I hope you like the colours
The intensity of the blue
The definition on the craters
Because I captured this for you
