9.11.13
I'm told it's a significant date.
Elsewhere, I woke to find there had been a missed call from #1 son. Turned out it had been a mistake but allowed him to give me news of Freddie's kidnapping in KL. Both Freddie and his mum, Sarah, were at the wedding in February. He's a lovely little boy who danced and seemed to enjoy himself. Luckily, he was found safe and unharmed. G and WH were tired, having been up for 36 hours, helping with the search and posting info on social media.
That excitement over I went for a swim at the 'Commie' and then to Homebase to buy bulbs and cut price panises. A boot full.
The task this morning was to take the folks to Tesco. This did not go well. I had a coffee and bumped into the sparkie, which was fortuitous as I need him to sort a light. When I went to see how the shopping was going. Unfortunately, Mum was feeling unwell and had to go and sit down. We managed to get the rest but I don't do this kind of shopping and they are 30 years older than me. Conversion to online has to be the way forward. The bags of bottles and tins and tatties are heavy for me, never mind them.
We got back with most of the list, but not all, and I forgot to use the vouchers. It's my future, that's the sad thing.
When I got home #2 son was watching the rugby, which seemed to go on for ages, more conversions. I baled to go and insulate the walk-in. Tomorrow I need to plant the planters, and maybe swim, again.
Now trying to find something that ISN'T sport or Remembrance on the box.
