Watching

A lovely day started with an early walk to Holyrood to meet Julia, Nick and Isobel for a walk. We fed the swans, watched runners and braced ourselves against the cold wind. Hot coffee and brunch at Hemma was just what we all needed to warm up.
We then had an incredibly wet walk to Chester street. Jacob was fast asleep and wrapped up in his chariot but Stephan, Henny and I looked like we had been swimming by the time we arrived. Maureen's scones and tea soon had us warm and dry.
