Neeltje Jans, Oosterscheldekering.

Neeltje Jans is approximately 285 hectares and is located midway between the Oosterscheldekering Schouwen and North Beveland, but nevertheless belongs to the municipality of Veere on Walcheren.
The name Neeltje Jans is obtained by a boat on the sandbar jammed and which also wore that name, it is an old folk name for the patron goddess Nehalennia.
