Daughter #1 arrived late last night, having landed on UK soil on Wednesday morning and visited a few friends on her way north.

Tomorrow there'll be a gathering of the MacFreuchie and MacTroon clans in Glasgow as the two generations meet together for the first time in over three years. There will be much tongue-wagging and hilarity. Probably. Guaranteed.

Before then there's an evening of Strictly Come Dancing to look forward to...
