Settled in

Yesterday, the suckler herd was moved from the field, and into the shed, where they will stay until after they calve in March time.

Don't worry! This bit on the concrete is part of the pen, out in the open, and the rest is sheltered, and covered in sumptuous straw bedding.

Huckleberry the Bull will stay with the heifers, even after they calve, which is the norm.

Come calving time, my journal shall be flooded with calf pictures!!!!!
