High Key Hamster
The weather here today was biblical with the only highlight being a spell on the porch roof diagnosing a water leak. And so it was that my total photographic output for the day was a picture of a window plus a witty anecdote as it turns out that windows are far easier to climb OUT OF than IN TO - I guess cats must have a similar relationship with trees.
Then later in the evening I noticed that the hamster had a sore eye so I tried to get a picture so I could take a closer look. I got said picture but this isn't it. I really like this shot though as you can barely see where hamster finishes and bedding starts. There's a few tweeks on this shot to maintain the whiteness but it's pretty much as it appeared on the back of the camera. For info this is the same hamster as shot on 30th January and also the recipient of the hypodermic from 14th October
