No holes

Today after work I went up to Reading to look for shoes. John Lewis had the right kind of shoes I wanted in but all for men with narrow feet. I've never understood why shoes only seem to be made in not-foot shaped shapes. I've yet to meet anyone with long pointed feet, most seem to be short and wide like mine...

I tried a few more shops and even when I could find feet shaped shoes the soles were mostly too thin and flimsy - they won't survive the 6 km a day that I do going to and from work each day. In the end I settled on these shoes from M&S, not quite what I was looking for but they may last more than 6 months which is all the last two pairs of Clarks managed before wearing though...
