Let's hope it's not all Tumbledown

With planning application approved and it is looking all go ahead on knocking down the historic Tumbledown Dick pub......

A landmark of Farnborough sadly being demolished to make way for a thoroughly unwanted & unneeded McD's (yes like the rest of the planet there is at least one other with 5minutes drive already)

But nipping down to pickup a quick fish'n'chips having worked late tonight.... I jump in my car opposite the soon to be gone Tumbledown and wonder will it be all these small family businesses tumbling soon after as McDonalds uses it's giant advertising might to run them out through share force of cash? I hope not :-)
