My wheels

First blip on the new iPhone. Takes some getting used to as it's much lighter and "flimsier" than the 4S. Despite being more expensive it feels cheaper.

This is my mountain bike. Bought it when I first came out here two years ago. When I used to live in downtown la jolla I would cycle to work ~5 miles, including a steep ascent up by scripps oceanography. By the time I got to work I was knackered. Now it's just a short hop up gilman drive, still uphill and still a good workout. But only 10 min door to door.

Another slow day at work. Managed to miss a seminar on industrial jobs as I got the times wrong. Very unlike me. Had a 'heated discussion' with my boss with regards to the new work we are starting. He came in accusing me and and the grad student of not planning every fine detail and wasting money. I shot down all of his arguments.

Cooked "American" pie tonight, well halfway through, for our "friendsgiving" even tomorrow. More of that then....
