Bales of...Ferns

A real mixed bag of weather today. It rained all morning which suited me because I had to install a new hard drive on my computer and I would have hated doing that if the weather had been good. Then this afternoon the sun out came out in between the heavy showers and I had a weeks worth of blips in an couple of hours walk.

This is taken on Plasterdown and the bales are of ferns. I think the commoners have cut and baled the ferns in order to stimulate the growth of the grass. I don’t think these bales can be used for anything and they will probably still be here in six months time!
