The Govan Cranes

Today I'm blipping this photo that I took of the River Clyde and the 4 or 5 big cranes at BAE systems in Glasgow.

There was as announcement this week that there will be hundreds of job losses and that the cranes will be taken down.

This is another savage blow to what was once the greatest shipbuilding river in the world.
