You Keep Him Occupied Maurice .......

The Cygnet came home with Adventure Ted yesterday from nursery.
He is meant to take him on an adventure and have it recorded and written up in the book that comes with him.

SWMBO and I thought we would take him on an educational trip to Dynamic Earth with Cygnet and Squirrel.

However - it turns out the Cygnets dad took him on an adventure to Glasgow today. I don't think he quite grasped the idea of Ted going on an adventure with the pupil!

So - we took Maurice with us and he can tell Ted all about it when he gets back from Glasgow.

I had to be careful that the first part of the education was bad language.
An hour to go 18 miles!
Flaming madness.

Maurice wasn't that interested in learning about the waste of space and money across the road that is the Scottish 'Parliament'.

But he did like the brain.

The best part though was the dinosaurs and he and the Cygnet had great fun working together to fight the sabre toothed tiger amongst others.

It was a good couple of hours and there is plenty more to go and see at another time ....... which we will (annual membership was only £2 each more than a single entry fee - so we took it).

Out this evening to have a meal with friends and laugh at them playing ten pin bowling.
My back will not allow me to play so I am safe from the ridicule.

A REMINDER TO ALL.............. There is a big Craft Fair at St Margaret's Academy in Livingston tomorrow (next to St John's Hospital).
All items are hand made and there are over 40 stands including clothes, toys, jewellery, woodturning and all sorts of gifts to name but a few.

Your attendance would be very much appreciated.
