Remake

Another beautiful Indian summer day; another beautiful orange sunset; another day too precious to be spent under ground.

Today's blip is more or less a remake of the very first picture I posted here in this extraordinary community. The weather was much better today than it was then and the Foehn wind was still in full swing and hopefully my photographic skills improved. So the photo shows Munich and the city's cathedral Frauenkirche in the foreground and the Bavarian Alps with Germany's highest mountain Zugspitze (the one on the right) in the background.

Just for your information and to get a feeling how the foen wind effects optics: I'm 10 kilometres away from Frauenkirche, and it's another 100 kilometers to Zugspitze!
