A lovely day in Hamburg...

I went into Hamburg this morning to see an exhibition of photographs by Steve McCurry - 'Overwhelmed by life'. The images were fabulous - deep in beauty and meaning, and the colours were absolutely amazing... I loved it! A friend recommended it to me and I'd been putting it off for some reason, but it ends on Sunday, so I decided to go and I'm so glad I did. I went early and had the exhibition rooms to myself for the first fifteen minutes too!
Afterwards I had a curry (fast food - okay, not great but satisfied my craving for now), and wandered around the city. This boat was waiting to go through the lock on one of the canals in the centre of town. :-)
