Archway at Cormery

We have found a "bonte WiFi" at a bar longe in Loches about 100 yds from our hotel!! hallelujah! Unfortunately it was "ferme" yesterday so I will have to back blip yesterday's post.
Our hotel is what is euphemistically described as idiosyncratic. Part of it belonged to the adjacent chateau and is XVI th century. It kind of feels like that inside. Each room is different and a little suspect. We have struck lucky and have a big room with 3 beds and a sunken bath. Sounds better than it is, but adequate.... not 5* s though!
Today we cycled from Loches to Cormery and visited the ruined Abbey there and had a picnic on the banks of the Indre river. It was much cooler and cloudier today and much better for cycling.
I've back blipped yestrday's visit to Montresor and the Chateau there.
