Stairway to heaven

Since Tuesday, our new staircase has become even more of an object of desire. It's now also a hidey-hole. The lovely JdeP has installed storage units and shelves and we are now the proud owners of the Small Electrical Goods Department at John Lewis. As you can see. All these gorgeous goodies have emerged from their under-the-counter closet and now sit, out, proud and cobweb-free, each with their own designated plug, waiting to whirr into action. L is in ecstasy.
