Yerwood kids
Talk about a force to contend with. These kids were good enough to volunteer to help clear the river of trash. We found heaps of ridiculous items that should not be found on a river bed or Mill River Park, a section south of the main park that is close to a small, 18th century cemetery.
You can read more about it after the weekend when I post a story on Yerwood's blog and on Mill River Collaborative's Facebook.
The mud was thick, the kids were strong, and in the late Fall afternoon we discovered a tombstone on the river bed.
