The Elephants Have Arrived!

The pod is finally empty, and they will come to take it away tomorrow. The last bins out were the elephants and I thought this would be a good day to peek inside. Today has been dark, dismal and rainy. When I unwrapped these two guys, It did add a little sparkle to my day.

I think as I unwrap the elephants and the rest of the bins full of curios, I will begin choosing special ones to give for Christmas gifts and continue to share these beautiful trinkets collected by my family over the past few decades.

I seem to be more able to give them as special gifts than to just sell them at a yard sale or on e-bay. In any case, only a few will stay with me and they will be the ones that have special meaning.
