Gunpowder, Treason and Plot
Or; Sparklers, Crumble and Hot Chocolate.
Some of the Super Skellies came round after their swimming classes today for the second part of our annual bonfire night celebrations.
Earlier in the day I had searched the sheds for last years left over fireworks but couldn't find them and so waited in line for almost a half an hour at tesco to buy some before having to leave empty handed to make sure I could get to pick my kids up from school in time.
So alas we were without any real fizzeses whizzes and bangs, but we did have 40 sparkles thanks to Shelly's generosity and the over zealous health and safety policy of the Girl Guides, and they seemed to satisfy the pyrotechnics in the whole gang.
The littlest was fairly unfazed by the sparklers around him and the accompanying hoopla, but then that does seem to be his standard state in most situations.
