Leaves by streetlight

Another quick blip today. A full day, PlayPod training this morning after constructing an air raid shelter out of the hut in Forest School ready for the afternoon. Then a quick change ready to be the ARP for evacuation this afternoon. As the evacuees set off for the countryside a quick journey by car to church and change into Billeting officer where children receive news of their placements. Off they go into the church hall for a round robin of WW2 related activities. My group are looking at artefacts and making propaganda posters to encourage children to wear gas masks. Only time to change round three times before another quick change into the local vicar and take children into church for a cut down service based on the Book of Common Prayer. Finally the war is over and everyone heads back to school.
