My David Hockney replica!!

Today at college in my Software Skills class we got on with replicating a piece of work by an Artist by doing a bit of digital painting! I chose David Hockney. I like this portrait of his mother, Laura Hockney. She looks very dull and dismal in this painting, she is also wearing a fur coat which could suggest she was a wealthy woman. There is so much detail in the original portrait and I've tried to copy this by using a programme on the Mac. It proves some difficulty trying to duplicate the exact shapes and shades. Overall good fun!
