Daisy

Daisy my 10 year old Golden Retreiver as some of you may recall from my blips about a week ago my recall went into doggy hospital with what was suspected to be a blockage (swollowed something) turns out it wasnt. After a 5 day stay ing hospital I eventually brought her home on Tuesday. She wasnt at all well, not drinking or eating anything. It was hoped that being home with me and the other dogs that she would perk up. She didnt. The vet called to say the final lab results had come back and her kidneys were failing and slowly poisoning her. I wasnt going to take her down to the vets again, Daisy had had enough of all that, so they came to my house.

Daisy died with her head in my hands while we remember her choosing us as a little white fluffy ball curling up on my knee and going to sleep, how she loved strolling on the beach and paddling in the sea, how much she was loved and would be missed. She died at 2.45pm 6th Novemeber in her own home surround by the people and dogs who loved her.
