Stone Balancing

A relaxing homey sort of day was called for today, with just a couple of short bimbly walks. One of which was around the land here, then out onto the commonage to the old stone wall that marks the townland boundary. I like the way this stone has been placed on the top and it has sat there for a very long time! It reminded me of Dorset landscape artist Adrian Gray who works with beach stone and creates some amazing sculptures by balancing stones!
